Launched in October 2015, as part of Norwich City Council's 'Get Involved Week', Norwich Best for Pets is gathering momentum. Our mission is to engage, inform and support the pet community inspiring best practice and making our city 'Best for Pets'. Communication, co-operation and collaboration are key to the success of our campaign and with measurable goals we want to show that together we can make a difference.
Our four key target areas are illustrated here but in short we are hoping to promote a safer, more informed and compassionate community.
Please save the date for our next meeting - we have so much news!
Saturday 30 September, 10.15-12.00pm, Harford Community Centre - the NEW ONE on Hall Road near the Asda Store. There will be a chance to talk about our Rescue-Rehab scheme (operating at HMP Norwich), our work with the RSPCA and Victory Housing Association and also lots of information for anyone joining us on our Trainer-led Community Walks starting Sunday 1 October, 10.30-11.30am in association with the Lakenham & Tuckswood Energise project. EXCITING!
